Playgroup at St Stephens Belmont

Playgroup is a welcoming space for young children to play, grow, and connect — and a great place for parents and carers to meet others in the community.

Playgroup is every Tuesday during school term.

Our sessions offer a balance of activities that support your child’s development:

• Spiritual – Stories, songs, simple prayers, and themed activities
• Physical – Toys, games, and indoor/outdoor play
• Intellectual – Drawing, colouring, puzzles, and creative art
• Emotional – Fun, social interaction, and shared experience

 St Stephen’s Playgroup is a Christian playgroup supported by the Anglican Church of Australia. 

Each session includes gentle Christian input such as stories, songs, and themes. Insurance is provided by the Anglican Church of Australia. 

9:30 – 10:30 – Free play and craft
10:30 – Music time
10:35 – Morning tea (Tea & coffee for parents)
10:45 – 11:25 – Outdoor play (weather permitting)
11:25 – Story time
11:30 – Goodbye

Note: Times are flexible — we go with the flow of the group.

• Please bring a healthy snack and water bottle for your child
• Bring a sun hat or jacket depending on the weather
• You are responsible for your child during the session
• Cost: $5 per family per session
  (Pay-per-term option also available)
• Playgroup runs during school terms only (no sessions in school holidays).
